Keithley Instruments is certified to be in compliance with the iso 14001, 2004 Environmental Management System Standard.

As described in our environmental policy, "Keithley Instruments, Inc. is committed to protecting the environment and the health and safety of our employees, our customers, and the public. We strive to conduct our activities in an environmentally sustainable manner, taking into consideration the complex and interconnected relationship of our ecosystem."

In line with this excerpt, Keithley has moved forward and implemented an iso 14001 compliant Environmental Management System (EMS). Accomplishments include:

• Upgrading lighting systems by installing energy savings lamps and ballasts
• Installation of new wave solder machine with closed loop ventilation and nitrogen atmosphere to reduce waste
• Installation of new energy efficient air conditioning units
• Installation of new stencil cleaner eliminating solvents use
